Curated, not stocked.
Our team selected this for clients who have laid the groundwork with a consistent brightening routine and are ready to introduce a more targeted combination of actives. The pairing of azelaic acid with ascorbyl glucoside and bakuchiol addresses tone, congestion, and blemish-prone skin without unnecessary complexity. It sits best within a well-structured skincare protocol — introduced gradually, and alongside a daily SPF.
About this product
Dr Sam’s Flawless Brightly Pro Serum
Dr Sam's Flawless Brightly Pro Serum is the advanced iteration of the brand's Flawless Brightly Serum, formulated for those who have already introduced the original into their routine and are ready to progress. It brings together four key actives — azelaic acid, niacinamide, ascorbyl glucoside (a stabilised form of vitamin C), and bakuchiol — to address uneven skin tone, congested pores, and blemish-prone skin within a single daily step.
The formula is non-comedogenic, making it well suited to oily and blemish-prone skin types. It absorbs readily and layers cleanly beneath moisturiser and makeup, lending itself to daytime use without disrupting the rest of a routine. With consistent daily use, a 30 ml bottle lasts approximately six weeks.
Dr Sam's recommends beginning with the original Flawless Brightly Serum for one to two skin cycles before stepping up to this Pro version — allowing the skin adequate time to acclimatise to the actives before increasing their concentration. As with any azelaic acid-containing formula, a gradual introduction is advisable, and combining with other potentially irritating actives should be avoided until the skin has adjusted.
*Based on an instrumental colorimeter flex assessment of 30 subjects using the product twice daily for 12 weeks.

Common questions
Frequently asked
I’m already using the original Flawless Brightly Serum—how do I know I’m ready to step up to the Pro version?
Dr Sam’s advises using the original for one to two complete skin cycles (roughly 6–12 weeks) without irritation; if your skin now tolerates daily use comfortably, you can progress to the Pro formula.
Can I apply this in the morning under sunscreen and makeup?
Yes, the serum is non-comedogenic, absorbs quickly, and layers cleanly under moisturiser, SPF, and makeup without pilling.
Is it safe to combine with prescription tretinoin or other strong actives?
Introduce the Pro serum gradually and avoid layering it with other potentially irritating actives until your skin has fully adjusted; if you’re on prescription topicals, check with your prescriber first.
Who should avoid this product?
It is not recommended for anyone with known sensitivity to azelaic acid, niacinamide, or bakuchiol, or for those who have not yet built tolerance with the original Flawless Brightly Serum.
How long will one 30 ml bottle last with daily use?
Used once daily, the bottle lasts approximately six weeks; if applied twice daily, expect around three weeks of use.
